1. Introduction

The Praesidium Group, LLC, doing business as Praesidium Protective Services ("Praesidium," "we," "us," or "our"), provides executive protection, uniformed security, low-profile coverage, residential security, event security, secure transportation, and security consulting throughout the State of Alabama. We are licensed by the Alabama Security Regulatory Board (License # 00605) and operate from Gulf Shores, Alabama.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information through our website at https://praesidiumpro.com (the "Site"). It does not describe the confidential operational practices, intelligence, or protective measures we employ on behalf of contracted clients, which are governed by separate engagement agreements and protected under strict client-confidentiality obligations.

We have written this policy in plain professional English. Where we use a defined term, we mean it the way you would expect a careful, security-minded firm to mean it.

2. Our Commitment to Client Confidentiality

Confidentiality is the foundation of our profession. Before describing the website-related data practices that follow, we want to be direct about one thing:

• We do not publish, share, sell, or otherwise disclose client identities, schedules, residences, travel routes, security postures, or protective intelligence.
• We do not confirm or deny the existence of a protective engagement to any third party except as required by valid legal process or with the client's express written authorization.
• We do not use client information, photographs, or testimonials in marketing without prior written consent.
• Our personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations that survive the end of any engagement.

These commitments extend to anyone who contacts us through the Site to inquire about services. The contents of an inquiry are treated as confidential business communications.

3. Information We Collect

We collect a limited set of information, and only what we need to respond to inquiries, operate the Site, and maintain reasonable security.

3.1 Information You Provide

When you submit our contact form, you may provide:

• Full name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Phone number (optional)
• Engagement type — one of: Executive Protection, Uniformed Security, Low-Profile Coverage, Residential Security, Event Security, Secure Transportation, Security Consulting, Careers, or Other
• Your message (required)

If you contact us by email at protect@praesidiumpro.com or by telephone at 251.262.4033, we will receive whatever information you choose to share.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics providers automatically collect a limited set of technical information, including:

• IP address (typically truncated or anonymized for analytics)
• Browser type and version, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, time on page, and referring URL
• General geographic region (country/state) inferred from IP
• Date and time of access

This information is used to operate the Site, understand aggregate traffic patterns, and protect against abuse.

3.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not knowingly collect:

• Government identifiers (SSN, driver's license number, passport number)
• Payment card or banking information through the Site
• Health information
• Biometric data
• Information from children under 18

If an engagement or an employment or background-screening process initiated through a Careers inquiry requires sensitive information of this kind, it is collected only through secure channels established under a signed engagement or employment agreement — never through the public Site.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential engagements
• Communicate with you about your request
• Review applications and expressions of interest for current or future roles (when "Careers" is selected)
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and automated attacks
• Comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal process
• Maintain reasonable business records

We do not use website-collected information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties. We do not engage in remarketing or behavioral advertising.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only with the limited set of service providers needed to run the Site, plus the narrow categories of recipients described below. We do not sell personal information.

5.1 Service Providers

Each of these providers acts as a service provider or processor and is bound by its own data-protection commitments. We do not authorize any of them to use information about Site visitors for their own marketing purposes.

Careers Applications. Our Careers page links to an external application form hosted by a third-party provider (Jotform). When you submit an application through that form, your information is collected and processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy, and retention of application data is subject to our settings within that service. We encourage you to review the provider's privacy policy before submitting an application.

5.2 Legal Process and Safety

We may disclose information when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process
• Cooperate with law enforcement on a matter properly within their authority
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of Praesidium, our clients, our personnel, or the public
• Enforce any applicable terms, policies, or agreements governing use of the Site, or investigate potential violations

Where legally permitted and operationally appropriate, we will narrow the scope of any disclosure to what is required.

5.3 Business Transfers

If Praesidium is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor will be required to honor the commitments in this Policy.

5.4 With Your Consent

We may share information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection and with your consent.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, primarily for:

• Strictly necessary functions (security, form submission, anti-bot protection)
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies used to distinguish unique visitors and sessions)

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers, and we do not currently display a cookie consent banner. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your settings; doing so will not prevent you from contacting us, though some Site features may behave differently.

If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's browser opt-out add-on or disable JavaScript in your browser.

Opt-Out Preference Signals. Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them differently. Regardless, we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as we have a legitimate reason to keep it.

• Contact-form submissions and related correspondence: typically retained for up to three (3) years after the inquiry, or longer if needed to satisfy a resulting engagement or our legal obligations.
• Candidate / Careers submissions: retained for up to twelve (12) months from submission, even without an active opening, so that we can consider you for future opportunities. You may ask us to delete your submission at any time.
• Analytics data: event-level data is retained for two (2) months and user-level data for fourteen (14) months, in accordance with our Google Analytics retention settings.
• Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for a short operational window of approximately twenty-four (24) hours for security and troubleshooting.
• General business records: retained only as long as necessary for legitimate business, accounting, and legal purposes, and then deleted or de-identified.

We may retain information longer where required by law, by a regulator, or by a pending or anticipated legal matter.

8. How We Protect Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, consistent with the Alabama Data Breach Notification Act of 2018 (Alabama Code § 8-38-1 et seq.) and our duties to our clients. These safeguards include access controls, encryption in transit, vendor due diligence, and limitations on who within the firm may access what information.

For obvious reasons, we do not publish a detailed description of our security architecture. We do not claim that any system is impenetrable, and no method of transmission over the Internet is perfectly secure.

Breach Notification

If we determine that a security incident has resulted in the unauthorized acquisition of sensitive personally identifying information and is reasonably likely to cause substantial harm, we will notify affected Alabama residents and, where applicable, the Alabama Attorney General, in accordance with Alabama Code § 8-38-1 et seq.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• Ask what we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal and business retention obligations
• Opt out of further communications by replying to any email from us, or by emailing protect@praesidiumpro.com

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, typically by confirming information you previously provided to us or by other reasonable means, particularly where the request concerns sensitive information. We will not use verification information for any purpose other than processing your request.

10. California Residents

Praesidium is an Alabama firm and does not currently meet the thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"). Nevertheless, we want California residents who visit the Site to have a clear picture of our practices.

In the past twelve months, we may have collected the following CCPA categories of personal information:

• Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address)
• Internet or other electronic network activity (browsing data on the Site)
• Geolocation data (general region only)
• Professional or employment-related information (for Careers inquiries you choose to provide)

We collect this information for the business purposes described in Sections 4 and 5. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 9. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, subject to reasonable verification.

Residents of Other States. Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information. Although Praesidium does not currently meet the applicability thresholds of these laws, we will honor the rights described in Section 9 for all visitors regardless of residence, subject to applicable legal and business retention obligations.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for visitors located in the United States, primarily Alabama. Praesidium does not actively market services to residents of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other foreign jurisdictions, and does not currently accept engagements outside the State of Alabama.

If you choose to contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, a prominent notice on the Site).

15. Disclaimer

This Privacy Policy is provided for informational purposes and is not legal advice. It describes our website-related data practices and does not modify any separate engagement agreement, non-disclosure agreement, or contractual confidentiality obligation between Praesidium and a client.

16. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and any dispute arising out of or relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, except where superseded by applicable federal or other mandatory law.
